Busy Little Bee
So much to do, so little to say. My sister is getting married in less than two weeks, so I have been busy preparing my MC duties. Two sisters shipped out in one year; I'm on a roll!
A particular little website's 4th birthday is also coming up, so I need to prepare an address for that as well. This year hasn't been quite as dramatically eventful as previous ones, so I'll need to be creative to find something interesting to say.
Along with that, I also have two friends getting married in the next few weeks, and another friend that wants me to do some software work for a little entrepreneurial adventure she is devising. With the rest of the time taken with catching up on three years of Corrs material, I have little time for much else.
...Except for the bachelor parties, of course...

XXVIII Olympiad
Faster, higher, stronger...
The Summer Olympics begin in Athens today, and I will be giving my complete and whole-hearted support to Canada's finest and healthiest by sitting on my ass eating junk food and watching them on TV.

Upgrade
Success! I have upgraded my ticket to The Corrs' concert next weekend to 7th-row floor seats! I will be close enough to discuss fine Irish brews with Jim through a series of complicated hand signals.
It's a good thing I've only got two sisters, because I don't think I could handle writing these MC speeches too often.

Encore! En Corr!
My throat is oh so very soar from yelling and cheering, and the palms of my hands feel raw from endless applause, but that was the best concert I've ever attended. I would have been seated a mere tin-whistle's throw away from The Corrs as they performed on stage, except for the fact that we hardly sat the entire time. The hassle I endured acquiring the seat was well worth the reward.
I hope they return soon; Toronto welcomed them warmly.
